Training with an ally is one thing, being put in an active combat zone and acquiring valuable lessons in real life scenario.....priceless.

Why should SK get bullied into our war of choice which we are handling terribly? They have enough on their plate keeping their half of their country. Why should they bail us out because we can't handle our business? I hate this whole episode, and it is one of the latest examples or Trump going off the damn rails. There is zero upside to damaging our relations with them. There is nothing they can do that is going to unfuck Trump's terrible mismanagement of a conflict he could have easily won single handedly months ago. Trump started this, he fucked it up, and he's now doing harm to a yet another alliance that was perfectly fine until his whimsy deemed otherwise.

Further, there is really nothing to gain for SK right now due to how terribly we are managing this. This isn't Desert Storm where we are pulling off a master class and showing off new tricks with all kinds of new weapons. This is a fucking quagmire of choice that our leadership is making worse day by day. The only recent positive to look at has been stumbles by Iran, only to be outdone by our own president within days.

There's this "board of peace" and its plans to instill some kind of replacement forces to rule Gaza after Hamas "disarms", I didn't follow all of the details because it's not going to happen (or maybe in a long time from now or in a different way etc) but that's what this is about not letting the UK have influence on it

Let's just say all of this is not gonna help anyone but we'll be screwed much worse
