Triple M Junkie Idol Game thread

Did I win yet?

Garrett Dillahunt is a FANTASTIC pull. Dude played the Terminator in the Fox TV series as well. He can do almost anything.
I contemplated using that role. But, even though I had never seen the sitcom I used, I felt that was a better contrast to the two previous roles I picked.

I really, really wanted to use Dillahunt's two roles from Deadwood right away, but I ran into a wall when the clips I wanted weren't available. Despair and delays ensued while I tried in vain to track them down. But, I think it was serendipitous in the end because the ones I ended up with worked better in my opinion. I also may have gotten a slight bump in score from Brick due to a good poker scene. I hadn't even considered that until after I submitted.

Rasing Hope is a better pick. He's pretty "robotic " in terminator, but still shows he can play a multitude of roles.
Comedy is hard to pull off and he did a really good job at that.

My pick on this category would've been Bryan Cranston, but I almost like yours more.

He also plays the Bad Guy in the final season of Justified. I think he's really good in that, but his henchmen just suck so it kinda drags him down

Now I'm looking up my secondary pick to see if he was nominated for anything
I still like your Keanu Reeves pick. John Wick/Stranger Things/Star Wars/Harry Potter.....

Huh, I'll be damned, that's really surprising to me for some reason
Probably because he wasn't considered 'a real actor' by those snobs. I'd imagine the theater clique that takes their work very seriously doesn't like it when a guy who got famous being a buffoon comedian suddenly steps into their world and is quite good at it. He's probably an outcast to them. But that's just a guess.

Also, looking at the pic above, Kylo Ren would have been a good entry too. That guy has played a lot of different roles.

But, has he played them well? His performance as Kylo was as about as cringe as it gets.

True. But after that role I've seen him in all kinds of other stuff. However I haven't actually watched much of it so I can't attest to the quality of it. But he's gotten around a bit.
