The time has come to make a thread dedicated to the absurd things that have been said to you:
I was at work and my boss was over my shoulder I opened microsoft word and he said to me "Ahh, Microsoft word, now we are in my territory!"
My boss' cell phone rang and he screamed "GET IIIIIIITTT!" when it was right next to him, he made me get it.
My boss refuses to let me respond to customer e-mails at work, so I don't then one day he yelles at me and says "Why you did? Why you no e-mail this guy? Why you do like this!?" and I said "You told me not to e-mail anyone" and he puts his hand on his face and says "OH MY GOD!"
I was having my picture taken for my student ID and the camer guy asks me "Do you have ellipsis?" and i got really mad because I DONT!!!
Well, thats all I can think of ATM, post the absurd things said to you.

Ages ago, I had a roommate... a close friend...
About a month after I got married, my roommate calls me at work, which she's never done before. She says, straight out: "Now that your wife is working, you guys are making enough that I shouldn't have to pay rent... or we should at least split it 3 ways." I'm not sure if the "shouldn't have to pay rent" part slipped out accidentally and the split 3 ways is what she really intended.
At the time we were living in a house I bought that had 5 bedrooms / 3 baths. She had her choice of 2 rooms and a bath, even gave her first choice above me. She was paying less than what she was paying when we shared a 2bdrm apt together the year before.
All of her communist arguments aside, I did the math when I got home... added up all of the expenses related to the house: mortgage, electric, gas, cable, internet, homeowners assoc dues... and it turned out if she wanted to split it 3 ways, it was going to cost her almost $150/mo more than she was paying.
She later attempted to make the argument that the ratio of the split should be dictated by our incomes. I suggested that if that's the case, I'll be quitting my job, since I'd get to live free.

LMAO. I had a roomate like this once as well, I don't understand where people get off thinking they are entitled to a life that caters to their income, or rather, the lack thereof.

I think it's absurd when my fat little boss waddles by and yells out, "time!" and expects someone, anyone to stop what they are doing and give her the time.
Keep in mind I work at a call center. There is a computer ever 2 feet, all of which have the time, plus there are clocks on every single wall.
Sorry boss! Wouldn't want you to strain your eyeballs!

isn't it the other way around? MMA forums are ridiculous these days, have been for years. ANYTHING said in those forums has either been touched upon hundreds of times before or is just stupid as hell. Nothing new in an MMA forum.
In the OT forums, at least you get something different every day. And a REAL off topic forum makes people cringe and cry.

I know i'm a month late but here i go:
I was in the 8th grade and came back from a dance. My mom was all smiles and the first thing out her mouth wasn't did you have a good time....no no no... she says "was there music at the dance?" I said " no we all sat around and hummed". I think she had some drinks.
