I trained bjj for years man I understand when you put somebody out or your opponent isnt tapping from a locked in sub and the ref has to stop it they refer to it as a "technical submission" You said burkman never submitted fitch. When he became unconscious, his body and mind stopped resisting. That, by definition, is submitting. So yes, Fitch submitted to Burkman.
And you signing up with other screen names so that you can post comments that seem to be in support of your argument is not the same thing as people agreeing with you.

getting choked unconcious is a technical submission because the fighter who got choked out didn't submit.
technical submission =/= submission
