Disagree totally. BJ is better in almost every facet. To me Condit is a poor man's BJ Penn. BJ wins this easily

Condit a poor mans BJ Penn, where did that come from? Both guys are good standing, both fighters are good on the ground and both fighters can knock people out this fight could go either way with no fighter having the edge imo.
I think Condit does mix up his strikes a lot better than BJ but Penn also has the better hands/boxing, BJ will have an edge on the ground as he has the better Jitz but Condit is also very savvy so doubt either will be getting subbed, dont forget Condit is the bigger stronger fighter here and his standup is nasty so BJ needs to be very careful in this fight.
I cant see a clear winner, just going to enjoy the fight.

I'll cheer against BJ everytime. The fact he's fighting Condit makes it better. I've always liked Condit - thought it showed balls taking that fight against Kampmann for his UFC debut. Even though I was cheering for The Waterboy I was very impressed by Condits heart in that fight as well. He reminds me of Jon Fitch in that he's humble, well spoken and has loads of heart - and yet he's the complete opposite in that he puts on exciting fights.

Hmmmm, too bad for u I guess. Penn is on the threshold of the end of his career. I have never liked Penn AT ALL. His attitude towards other fighters, his attitude towards his "adoring" fans, and his "lazy" attitude towards training have always pissed me off BUT....... Penn is STILL a bad-***. That being said, Condit is gonna put the stamp on Penn's resurgence papers. WAR CONDIT!!!

I dislike Penn, but I believe he is the superior fighter here, when he is motivated.
The problem is Condit will control the fight because of his size, and Condit has great cardio.
Honestly, he trains with GSP. He will just do exactly what GSP did to Penn and he will take his heart out of it.
Condit wins by a stoppage of some sort in the 3rd.

On Wednesday evening, First Round Management announced Carlos Condit (Pictured) has inked a multi-fight contract extension to remain with the UFC. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
“I am honored to receive an extension before my next fight, as it shows the level of confidence the UFC has in me,” Condit stated. “I can’t wait to show the fans how much my training for this next fight has paid off.”
“The Natural Born Killer” owns an impressive 27-5 professional record and became one of the hottest names in the welterweight division after shoving his knee in Dong Hyun Kim’s face at UFC 132.
The former WEC champion has won 12 of his last 13 contests and is currently enjoying a four-fight winning streak.
Condit meets BJ Penn in a pivotal scrap at UFC 137 on October 29th. The 170-pounders will co-headline the pay-per-view broadcast.

This is going to be a battle i believe . I like both fighters but i think Condit will prevail in this fight . I think people underestimate Condit . He is an awesome fighter and is improving with every fight. Penn better train for this because Condit will bring his game . I would like to see him fight the winner of the GSP vs Diaz fight though not sure if Condit is ready for GSP strength . What do y'all think ??

Penn better not take Condit lightly . He means business . I think it will be an awesome fight either way . I would like to see Condit take it and move up for a title shot in the future . GSP is an animal though . I don't know if Condit could handle the strength coming out of GSP . Future tells all .
