If the judges are swayed by Joe Rogan than they are bad judges and not doing their job right.

You're right about that.

That's a good idea. Being as English is not my native language, it always takes the CPU a little longer to process information...

and being as typing is no one's native language, i'd encourage everyone doing textual PBP to try it out. i type unbelievably fast (110+ wpm, which my mom, a former typist, informs me is crazy fast) and its still impossible to keep up with live action. i can type about as fast as most people talk, and it's still impossible to keep up with actual fighting. i can only imagine people who type slow (read: most people) would struggle even more.
also, typos, dropped letters/words and general grammatical wrongness are more or less a given in those circumstances. nothing you can do about that. i'm sure readers can appreciate that though.

I mean yeah we already know the judges are terrible. But if they actually are swayed by a commentator then they are even worse. Rogan and other commentators shouldn't have to worry about swaying the judges and they should not be blamed for that.

Commentators can say anything they want. I'm concerned that judges don't often know their own rules and start making assumptions instead.

Copperheart, that's something I doubt. I just wish there was more consistency and transparency with this process.
At least with the referees when they blatantly screw up.

Keep in mind I'm talking strictly full guard. Not half guard, not open guard. Full guard.

There is no sport in the world that values pulling guard or being on your back. Even in jiu-jitsu top position is preferred. Top control always has more options and possibilities; not to mention it is nearly impossible to knock some one out with a punch from your back.
Takedowns are scored in many grappling disciplines and as a function of the "mixed" aspect the takedown should be respected. It is 2013, if a fighter can not stay off his back mma might not be the sport for them.
On topic: I think Rogan does influence fan opinions, but really he is just a shaved monkey being fed lines from a studio producer and a technician. Sorry to break the aura that Rogan has much say in any of his "bias".
