What's wrong with Frank Mir? Every time Frank loses, he calls somebody out. You don't do that when you lose. You have no right to do so, especially when you have lost two in a row and had been dominated.
Calling out somebody that 90% of the people believe to be p4p best fight, someone who has held the belt the longest and somebody who move in and out of his weight class to beat ***(that rhythms) when you haven't held a real belt of any kind in years and got beat badly in last to fights is really ridicules and YET you guys think its just fantastic and Dana should make it happen............................................................. I don't think it should happen but............................................ Silva win TKO 2 round

He didn't lose two in a row. He lost to Brock, then he ANNIHILATED Cheick Kongo (something that no other heavyweight in the UFC has been able to do) and then he lost to Carwin (who is undefeated.) Frank is still relevant and can do whatever he wants.

Sorry about that i don't know where my head went......... I think i dismissed that win because he sub. a stand- up fighter, which is wrong of me I know
My point still stands you don't get raped in a fight and get to call out the best of the best and be CHEERED for it.

I like your passive aggressiveness. You can't dismiss his win over Kongo because he FINISHED a guy that, so far, no one else in the UFC has been able to do. I'm not saying that I think Frank should fight Silva and I'm not saying that he would win if he did. You just can't discredit his victories. He has trouble with big, strong wrestlers. Anderson Silva is not a big strong wrestler. Frank's striking is not as good as Silva's but it's still pretty good. I think it would be a more competitive fight than you assume and Frank knows this as well, hence his eagerness to make the fight.

I know it will be competitive fight that's not what I am saying.
Its like this, when Matt Hughes called out Serra, even though Matt had lost fights I don't mind him calling out Serra because who is Serra compared to
Hughes on paper.Serra on paper was much less of a fighter than Hughes. He didn't call out someone who is on paper greater than himself.
Silva by TKO in 3rd if Dana is as unprofessional as we thought.

You said "Silva by TKO in the 2nd" when you first posted this thread. Which is it? And what's with the unnecessary jab at Dana? It makes him unprofessional if he does Frank Mir vs. Anderson Silva? First of all, I would say that it makes him one hell of a professional if he makes that fight because it will make him MONEY and lots of it. And second of all, Dana is not the match maker, Joe Silva is. Wow, you've only been here long enough to make 8 posts and you are already annoying me.

Re: Frank Mir floating on clouds?
Like I said in another thread, at least we'd get to see Silva KO someone in the first round again.

I thought 2nd first, but thought that it would take a much smaller guy more time to chop down a much larger guy,so 3rd TKO.
To make the fight is unprofessional for whoever makes it happen, because your putting a guy who is 185lb against a guy who is around 245lb JUST because you didn't like the way he fought in this last fight. Hoping that the bigger man gets lucky and wins and taints the p4p fighters recorded. The "matchmaker" wouldn't do it to anyone, why do it to Silva.

Where have you been?!?!?! Silva has been talking about possibly having some fights at HW for the last 6 months practically!!! Probably longer than that.

Take it easy with the !!!???!!!!! your scaring me.
People say a lot of things. one example is Maia saying he will take one of Silva's arm home with him.
Going up that far is huge it will take a long time for him to do it if he does it. If he does it Mir shouldn't be his first fight it happen like when he moved up to lhw. He fought a good guy than he fought a former champ.
Mir is in the wrong.

Well, everything you have said so far is entirely wrong. So it does mean that I know more. And, I think you are just trolling now. So, nice talking to you.

And in your opinion your walk around weight is fit enough to fight in the cage........... Fighters cut weight because their not in good condition at their walk around weight.
I've fought in a cage before, your telling me you know more than me because i don't have more posts than you.

And?
Every fighter walks around heavier than the weight they weigh in at. That doesnt mean it would be easy for him to gain 15 pounds on top of his walking around weight.
Not even sure why it would be a catchweight fight, isnt the HW division in the UFC 206-265? Couldnt it be Silva at 206 and Mir at 265?

I never said that. I was simply stating that Silva's walk around weight is about 220. I've fought in a cage too. As a matter of fact, my real name is BJ Penn.

Anyone think this would have the potential to go the same way as the Leites and Maia fights?
Is Batmir really going to be aggressive standing up against Anderson Silva?

I think Mir has the capability to take more punches en route to a takedown, but I still don't know how Mir is going to win this one. His stand up (though improving) is nowhere near the level of AS, and he is to slow to get a takedown.
