Honestly I don't think GSP even lets this fight sniff the mat. I see him battering Shields on the feet and stuffing all his takedowns.

I think he definitely has that option, but I think/hope we see a GSP who is making a statement. By that I mean he beats jake in the stand up, puts him on his back, mounts him and then chooses from a buffet of submission options. GSP is at the point in his career where UDs need to become a distant memory. I'm hoping for a shoulder dislocating Americana.

I have never seen anything stating that tickling was allowed, but it would look really ghey. Just thinking about the gifs that Copperheart would post makes me cringe.

gsp is insane, he is a master at executing perfect gameplans. koscheck didnt train wrestling, so he outwrestled him. 2nd time around, koscheck trains all wrestling because he think gsp is afraid to stand with him, and gsp outstrikes him for 5 rounds. ever since TUF, i have a completely different opinion on gsp.

What pisses me off is that people glorify GSP so much that they accully thinks that Jake Shields is some loser who has nothing to offer....
Sure GSP is one hell of a athletic, and iam a huge fan of him, iam very impressed by his intelligence but you should not count Jake out just yet, he has a 15 fight winning streak and has not lost since 04, and he is also a super athletic and smart guy.
I belive in Jake Shields, sure as hell GSP will be his thougest opponoment to win over, but then again wich fighter would not say the same about GSP? But i still think that Jake Shields can win, you should not dissrespct him.

if shields shows up in the same shape as his last fight they will be burying him in a pine box he looked like crap and alot of people thought he lost that fight

not to be an *** but he didnt look good againts kampman, and i think alot of people though that decision didn't go to shields. Dont get me wrong, i honestly dont know much about sheilds, but what you said sounds very impressive. I don't want to base my opinion in just that fight, if he subs GSP, thatd be awesome. Though i love GSP and i just highly doubt hell lose cuz, well, he never really makes mistakes ya know?
