Honestly, this would be a GREAT deal for both parties. HOWEVER, it will put a bad taste in my mouth because TapouT has done so much and was supporting UFC while Affliction was still trying to put them out of business.

I don't think there will be a conflict. I mean Affliction will be allowed to sponsor fighters but I doubt the UFC will paste their logo everywhere like they do TapouT. Plus I don't think Affliction sells MMA gear, just clothing so there isn't a direct competition there.

this is kevin iloe, he has been doing this since ufc 4. i do not think he ruins his cred with this, yahoo moved faster. there also where the first to post on mirko stayin in the ufc before the ufc posted it. its the media. they move faster

A little Off-Topic here, but does anyone else want to stab the guy that runs MMAMania in the face with a soldering iron? Whenever I read his articles (he used to do his own articles, dont know if he has other people writing them now), the way he threw his own opinions in there and passed them off as fact made me want to attack him. Thank god for the Junkie. I don't even look at the RSS feeds from MMAMania anymore.
Also, I hope that the quote from DW regarding Affliction is the truth, it would excite me if he told them to shove it.
