Justice Thread

Just to clarify, but I believe it was the jury who gave the sentence in this case.
Correct. In Cali the judge does the sentencing. I kinda like having the jury do that, it worked out for this one. And takes away the ability for a single person to apply some kind of leniency that no one else understands. Or the opposite - a ton of additional time for some kind of aggravating circumstances.

Oh that was you?! I had no idea. Jk but it was before zencrete found birdwatching.
Nah, Id do that one again.

Wasn't the Digiorno, it was him arrogantly calling me a buffoon for not eating fucking crab legs instead. Cuz those are fuckkng comparable, Lord knows when I'm in the mood for a cheap and easy pizza and can't get one, I reach for fucking crab legs instead to scratch the itch 🙄.

Oh NOW you cocksuckers wanna sleep?!?

No no no , get your asses out of bed @BrokenThreads @Tito Orcheese @ABB and @osubuckeye4

I got tagged into this thread so cmon, up at em fuckers. You apparently wanted this.
what the hell did I do? I haven't paid any attention to this case until yesterday. And it worked out well, I got the whole story and the verdict in 1 shot. Plus experienced debate over it, saw some non-rage outrage, and shined light on the poor basketball player dragged into this mess.

Uh oh.

Supposed to be taking it light and going easy this week, but couldn't sleep, so I went to the gym at my regular time. There is a woman here I have never seen before, very pretty, and she took the squat rack right in front of where I'm benching.

She keeps looking back at me, smiling, and now is stretching suggestively. I need help.
"Can I work-in?"

Oh, I'm done it's all yours.

OK, where you going next?

I'm going to use the bench.

Ok, can I work-in there with you?

You just finished using it.

Often times it looks like I finish early but there's still a full tank.

Oddly, they're both right. Fair exchange, wouldn't call dude a male Karen, he didn't use the back and forth to wind himself up and lose it.

Creativity is paramount in these situations. Couldn't help but to notice that the lawn in between the sidewalk and the curb looked dry, that should be watered immediately.

Agreed. Creative revenge is the best.

I have a friend (whom you all may be passingly familiar with) that, when he was in college, lived in a studio apartment that had a shared kitchen for like every 4 apartments. Well, he had purchased some lovely avocados, and they went missing.

Long story short he figured out it was the tweaker lady next door who stole them (who also had half her arm amputated, but that's not relevant to the story), and after some back and forth and getting nowhere (as female tweaker amputees are an unreasonable lot), decided to take matters into his own hands.

He figured out where the walls were thinnest between the apartments (the bathroom), decided he was going to teach himself the keyboard, so he purchased one, got rip shit stoned, and then spent the next several hours trying to play the song "I Try" by Macy Gray on the keyboard with accompanying vocals.

The tweaker lady lost her absolute shit, another neighbor called in a noise complaint due to her freaking out pounding on the wall screaming, she was uncooperative with police, and was hauled away and evicted (shockingly, she also hadn't been paying rent).

Sheiks know how to piss off their neighbors. As a fellow Sheik, I can't help but wonder why I wasn't called in to set up my drums in this bathroom.

This was, God, twelve years ago now? Thirteen? I think i was still a lurker on Mania and hadn't even posted ever when this happened.

College Crete and Sheik were quite the characters tho.
Justified.

This is not the world where you can do anything to take away a man's avocado toast.

Thinking about swiping someone's avocados? Captain Casio will be mobilized.
