Brutal KO in the first fight, "The Pit" as they call it reminds me of the YAMMA pit back in the day.

What is this Rise thing, is it not part of glory? Why does it have a different name?

RISE is a Kickboxing promotion based out of Japan. They're co-promoting their year end card with Glory. The have a tournament series that culminates at the end of the year.(now)(?)
They're looking to expand their footprint into International markets, hence the Copro with Glory.

Fun factoid info. KC is loosely based on the awesome Japanese promotion GanRyuJima. The missus introduced me to that one night when I came hope late from the restaurant. It was awesome. Ex and future UFC fighters competing with trad. martial arts fighters and even wrestlers and basketball players in stand up with limited GnP.
They competed on a moat, so you could only be ejected from the circle the times before you lost. Also fighters purse would be doubled if they used their stated speciality discipline to win. Eg a karate man wins by front kick KO.
unfortunately their Fuji TV contract was cancelled (probably due to govt interference) and their last show was two years ago. It had loads of popular vets like Josh Barnett, Melvin Manhoef and Rafael Lovato jr. and young guns from Rizin. It was a total organizational s--- show of PFL proportions though, and they’ve done nothing since. It did feature one of the most frightening fight finishes ever though when a capoera specialist moat ejected his opponent in superhero fashion. Just a horrific landing and KO.
I hope Rizin resurrects them but looks doubtful

It's Japan's premier KB promotion. It is bigger than K1 nowadays.
Even Takeru was in Rise. It's probably the top org. in the world (bias).
