LEsnar is setting records on his next fight

^^^Exactly, I'm sure Lesnar can go five rounds. And he'll be able to take Cain down and once he does I don't see Cain getting back up. Cain's a wrestler and not use to being on his back. He hasn't fought another wrestler and Lesnar is going to GnP the $h*t out of him. If Cain some how manages to survive the onslaught he'll likely lose the first 3 round and will lose by decision. But I'm going to say Lesnar TKO3.
And not that this has to do with anything but Cain didn't look too excited about having to face Brock.

I'm sure Cain is training to be prepaird for fight from his back, just like Lesnar is. I think the difference is that Lesnar is also working on his true BJJ game, and getting a very aggressive guard, while we have NO idea what Cain is working on.
It wouldn't suprise me though to see Lesnar with another choke to win (I am thinking more of a guillitone or RNC though).

Cain also had to hit Kongo HOW many times? Same with Rothwell. Lesnar will be able to take those hits from Cain, but I don't know if Cain can take the same types of shots on the ground that Lesnar can deliver.
It doesnt take Power to make Lesnar run and turtle really. Couture showed that in there fight. If Cain un;eashed his punches it will overwhelm Lesnar and mentally put him away. look at Nate & Nick Diaz and how effective there punches are. In order for Lesnar to throw his bunches of punches he has to take Cain down but the question is can he? Cain doesnt have to take Lesnar down to unleash punches.
How many punches did it take for Nog though?

Completely agree. Lesnar took Carwin's bombs and survived just fine. We haven't seen Cain take anyone's GnP yet and Lesnar will be the worst place to start.

When the f--- did Lesnar "run and turtle" against Couture? Lesnar took everything a much harder hitting Carwin had and he came out fine. I think you've been misinformed.

When did Lesnar mentally get put away? He kept Carwin off from dropping bombs, and after the round, was SMILING!
And yea, Nog was dropped quick. Mir did the same thing. And, how many people have dropped Nog (maybe not KO, but put down from a punch)?
Nate and Nick are also different fighters than Cain/Carwin. Nick and Nate use their boxing skills to complement their JJ skills. Remember, even in the Davis fight, Nate won via choke, not stoppage due to strikes.

The turtling was a defense mechanism. And, after that, most of the punches that Carwin threw hit arm, not head. Few things can contribute to this too.
1. Lesnar doesn't like getting punched in the face. Not really all that uncommon
2. He didn't know how to react. His head was cloudy, and the TD's didn't work.
3. He is inexpirenced in MMA. Hell, that was his 6th overall MMA fight? 3rd for a title.
Better training, and more focused training on striking will improve this 10 fold. And, Cain doesn't hit NEARLY as hard as Carwin does. Too add more, Cain shouldn't want to grab Lesnar. Close the range, the closer he is for Lesnar to also grab hold, and bring Cain down.
As for the Diaz Brothers, their boxing softens opponents up. Not power punchers, but enough of that, and the takedown comes. Thier, the JJ game comes RIGHT into play.

Ive noticed that "Fedor swingers" rarely come in to attack a thread like this. For some reason, its always the haters that bring him up for no reason. 3 comments into a thread about Lesnar, and your the one bringing up Fedor.

That's how it always is. Like the haters always claiming Fedors fan's always thought he was unbeatable, etc..etc.. when in fact, one of the things his fans most like about him was the fact he won fights he really should NOT have won and no matter what got thrown at him, he had an answer. Getting rocked, slammed on his head or sitting in Nogs guard for a week... he dealt with it. Just like he'll deal with the loss.
Not to mention he's about as small as a legit HW can be and still be effective, yet he not only was effective he was dominant. Somehow that always gets twisted into "his fans think he can't be beat so I hate them". lol Gotta take it from where it comes, I guess.
On the flip side, it's somehow rational to call a guy with a few fights the best HW in the world, maybe of all time, and just try getting a hardcore Lesnar lover to acknowledge Brock can be beaten, I dare you! Check out the recent "Brock vs. Cain Official Thread" (someone new makes one every week) love fest. First dozen posts and no one would even entertain the thought Cain MIGHT beat him, despite having the worst stand up in MMA. Pretty funny stuff, really.

Tougher opponents? HH got dominated by Jake O'brien. Randy was coming off a huge layoff, weighed 220 and was 46. Mir has the worst wrestling in the division AND was giving up 40 plus pounds. Carwin has been his one true test and he got his *** handed to him the entire first round. Brock had cardio on him, that's IT!
