I guess Brown got the next best thing. He wanted GSP, he got Condit. Fast track to a title shot with a win. Only problem is the winning part. I love watching both these guys fight but the Natural Born Killer is the 2nd Best WW on the planet and will more than likely bring the Immortal back down to Earth. Should be fun while it lasts!

Great fight, should be great fight. I like both fighters a lot, but this is a big step for Brown. Not saying he doesn't have a chance, but Condit should be able to handle Brown anywhere the fight goes.

'IF' he beats Condit up in convincing fashion? "Big IF" but its possible, this is MMA after all, he more than likely gets his shot at Gold. Especially after the post-fight interview. Most likely he has bitten off more than he can chew though and Carlos gets his shot at redemption vs GSP/Hendricks winner. (GSP)

I think Condit should have to go through Rory before he gets another shot at GSP.
Also, I'm not sure GSP is all that interested in a rematch with Condit. And as a GSP fan, I'm not either. He beat him decisively the first time around. There's no bad blood and nothing really for GSP to prove.

How did he come close? The headkick? I am a big Condit fan, but he should have to fight Rory first. I wouldn't mind seeing Condit v Hendricks 2 after he loses to GSP too.

GSP will fight whoever the UFC decides is next. Only if he loses or wins and decides to move up or down in weight will that change. I think he respects every opponent but fears none and that would include Condit. Rory and GSP are not gonna fight. They have made that as clear as Cain and DC. As for me? I'm a fan of both Condit and GSP and would love to see the rematch. I believe to this point Condit has proven to be the 2nd best WW In the division, especially in a 5 round fight
