I'm not saying Condit has great TDD, he doesn't mainly because his offense off his back is enough to deal with most fighters. However, to look at fights with GSP and Hendricks as examples is bad form in my opinion. GSP has a TD rate of 84% and takes every fighter down, pretty much at will, including wrestlers like Kos, Fitch, and Hughes, as well as fighters that had great TDD like Penn. Hendricks has a 50% TD rate and has taken down every fighter that he didn't just KTFO. You might look at the number of takedowns Condit fell to in those fights as being excessive, but to me it showed the thing he was able to do against them that most fighters have not been able to do, and that is get up.
If you're going to talk smack about his TDD, at least use Kampmann as an example instead.

The Hendricks fight, yes, Carlos got back up a lot. Of the 12 TDs, Carlos got up from 10 of them, most fairly soon after the TD.
Against GSP, not so much. Of the 7 takedowns, effectively 4 went to the end of the round. And of the 3 times he got back up fully, he had been on his back for a bit.
