@FunnyHoneyBunny getting a coffee
this.. is accurate xD
Not with billionares (i think... never met one)
but with "normal" wealthy people, they are insane in some regards.
I worked at a super market and there was one customer that came with an expensive car.
There were some chocolate give aways at the check out and he took as much as he could.
Like wtf?
People with 2 homes crawling behind the couch just to turn off the multiple socket and not just the TV, so they don't lose the 0,000001 Cent on the next electricity bill ...
I think many of those kind of people became rich, because they had this mindset and can't get rid of it, even though it is no longer needed.
There are also some funny stories about one of the ALDI brothers.
He was a billionare got taken hostage for ransom.
When they caught him, he had to show them his ID, because they could not believe it was him, since he looked so poor. Old coat, cheap shoes.
But he never bought anything new, if he did not need to.
After 17 days he got free, after the criminals got the ransom of 7 Milllion Mark.
And no shit, that guy tried to make a tax deduction for those 7 Million as "Operating expense" xD
Judge said no, because getting kidnapped is a private matter.
... this might be the most German kidnapping i have ever seen, now that i reread all this shit xD
