Re: Since Phoenix loves them so much

In all honesty i had to give tws a lil dose of his own medicine. He's taken every opportunity to throw in his anti Obama comments in every political thread whether its warranted or not. And like -P said, there are several threads that he could of added to instead of always starting new ones. I goated him into starting a new thread for the sole purpose of hijacking. I make no excuses, and while it was funny (so are fart stories) i apologize. But thats also why you saw little or no interjection from the mods. Let them play!
So here's the thing, I really dont care if tws hates Obama or not. And i don't care if others on here are republicans or democrats. There is NO right political party...there is what is right for YOU. So i always find it funny when try and tell me why i'm wrong for being a democrat. Its like if i tried to tell someone they are wrong for being baptist. You're not gonna change the fact i'm a democrat, and you're not gonna change the fact i'm methodist. There are mistakes both political parties have made from the beginning of government, so lets not pretend one is above the other.
But in regards to Obama. Here's the way i see it.....Bush has been the starting QB for the past 8yrs...we're having a sh*tty season and have 3 games left. So he benches Bush (the republican party) in favor of the highly touted rookie QB. And instead of being a team player and trying to help Obama learn plays, study coverages he (the republican party) wants to stand on the sideline and secretly (actually not so secretly) clap at every incomplete pass.
At this point of the game if you're not part of the solution, you're part of the problem. Not only democrats are being foreclosed on and not only republicans are losing their life savings. Its a team game at this point.
I really don't give a sh*t if you're pissed that Obama got elected...its what our country wanted. And that should tell you something.
I joke about Palin being dumb, and Jindal naming himself after the Brady Bunch but it comes down to what the people want.
For people to be critical of Obama 57days into a 4yr term is like booing a QB after starting the game 2-4 for 25yds.
Unfortunately we're not gonna get out of this financial hole in a year or even his first term...but we can stop the bleeding and stabilize the patient. The healing comes later.
As i've said before...what will ultimately change our country for the better is to change the greedy mentality of all of us. The same mentality that tells us to buy a range rover when all we can afford is a ford f-150. The same mentality that tells us to buy a half million dollar house and play with the equity when all we can afford is a $200k house. And the same mentality that should tell us if we invest with a guy thats claiming to give you 20-30% on your investment you're probably a part of a ponzi scheme.
Once we change our selfish behavior and live within our means then we can have the liberty of joking about which party is better.
(i still think Palin wears thongs! LOL)

Thats the silliest justification for acting like a moron I've ever seen.
In 2002, before 9/11, less than 2 years into Bush's first term, more than half of democrats wanted Bush to fail. So your justification is stupid.
You are saying that people who think it is bad for the country and will harm it should stand by while 787billion in taxpayer money is spent. Limbaugh is rooting for Obama to fail because he thinks is policies will HURT America, so he hopes they fail and dont hurt America as bad as they might if they succeed.
If you dont grasp that concept, thats your problem. You are wrong anyway - and obviously dont read - I have clearly stated that there are things Obama is doing that I support - you just conveniently overlook them - because you are to short-sighted and have decided that Obama can do NO WRONG. I have criticized Obama no more than i did Bush - but you have already pigeonholed me - well more accurately you have pigeonholed yourself - so despite posting it - you actually dont find any wrong in what Obama or the democrats have done, and overlook the negative things I have pointed out about the republican party.
Bet hey,
fart jokes are funny - good job
