February 23, 2013 marked a historic day in mixed martial arts; it was the day women debuted in the UFC, and headlined a card. Now a year later we will have our 2nd UFC card headlined by females.
The landscape has changed. New names have emerged. Tolerance seems to have settled in. And more importantly, Dana has seemed to embrace the division he long swore would never see the light of day in the male dominated sport.
A year from now we'll be talking about the impact of the TUF 115'ers and who is the "next big thing".
Times, they are a-changin.

...not if your name is Don Frye...
couldn't be bothered makin his picks for 170. Prick! He is Amusing though...
Bout F-ing time, I say. The ladies are a lot more skilled than given credit for and comparing them to their male counterparts is plain silly
Put it this way; the girls bring it! I've seen some good fights since they arrived. Zingano v Tate was my favourite fight to watch. I'm intrigued to know how Rousey will do against an Olympian wrestler that has bigger arms than some of the men(even Gyborg)

no doubt wmma has a future...but i wonder if the ufc is spreading itself too thin carrying both wmma and mma. right now it's manageable, since there is only one wmma division in the ufc. but what happens if it grow, is there enough room for wmma and mma to expand together under one organization, there are only so many events and roster spots? i think maybe in the future they should purchase invicta or something and allow for more wmma growth under Zuffa.
The womens division is developing nicely, and has definately a future. McMann, Tate , Rousey and Zingano has been hyped, and are all great fighters. With Cyborg and Holm inn, this division would be stacked!
Im not so positive about the strawweight division though, i think its to early. But im sure Dana and the guys have plan! I hope they bring Jessica Aguilar over from WSOF

Should I like this guy? I'm kinda torn because from time to time I find trolls entertaining and I give him credit for typing in accent. I'm gonna give him a shot. Somewhat looking forward to reading his next post with the voice of Andeson Silva in my head.
Edit: Caps lock is cruise control for
COOL

Ronda will arm bar her EASIER than she's been able to with Tate...
People are enamored by Cyborg's one punch KO power (which actually usually doesn't translate that way)... Gina mounted her what the hell do you think Ronda would do to her... And its not about "mma math", Ronda tools grown men on the floor who are MUCH stronger than Cyborg... I think a lot of fans are completely misguided in their perception of Cyborg and her skill-set.

If you watched True Detective you would know that this isn't the case.
Time is a flat circle.
I feel like I could be the poster boy for this change. When they announced Rousey vs Carmouche I was PISSED, I hated WMMA, they weren't supposed to be the same kind of athlete as the men, wasn't supposed to be entertaining. Man, I was wrong and I am so glad to be wrong. Now some of my favorite fights involve women, the fight I'm actually most excited for at 170 is Eye vs Davis, WAR DAVIS.
Bring on the Strawweights!
