Even if Sara upsets Ronda the UFC is sitting pretty. They still have an undefeated Olympian to promote. Win/win

I think if you look at the title picture right now, Zigano isn't that close to coming back by the sounds of it and there is no clear cut challenger after Sara. I think Alexis Davis vs Jessica Eye winner could be, although with Eye's recent controversy it might rule her out, and I really want to see Davis fight her.. BUT, with there being no clear cut number one contender I think Ronda has earned her right at an immediate rematch.

I agree the Eye/Davis winner would be next in line, followed by Cat if/when she's ready to return. I also agree an immediate rematch would be a 99% probability.
Still hoping they sign Holm before long.

For those of you who will be watching the fights at a local sports bar, I want you to pay attention to how many females you see at the bar watching the fight. It'll surprise you.

Cause some suckers in trying to get another MMA fight to see, they will advertise to their women "can you believe women are headlining the Event tonight" Brilliant way to get to a sports bar and watch the UFC.

Or you have a woman telling her nerdy husband, "hey, i'm gonna go watch sports with the girls, you stay here and do laundry".

Headlined 2 cards, coached a season of TUF, and is arguably the UFC's biggest star now.
Not a bad year for Rousey.

Lonely at the top...might want to add most unappreciated champion on The Junkie Forums. Luckily for her, all the ladies now competing know exactly what time it is, and are appreciative of what she's helped to do, which is make WMMA not only legit, but able to hang with the boys as far as putting on great fights. I for one will miss her when she's gone

If the UFC were to sign Carano, Holm and Cyborg; is it safe to assume the women's BW division would be the most exciting in mma?

I could keep going but you get my point on why I think it's 145 is still the most exciting

All very exciting, yet none of them (or collectively) hold a candle to Rousey or Carano's ppv/cable draw.

Now you're talking PPV draw which doesn't mean nothing as far as excitement. GSP didn't put on many exciting fights and he was a top draw.
I'm talking pure excitement when watching the fights. And honestly, Womens Bantamweight isn't even top 3. That goes to featherweight, mens bantamweight, and welterweight.
I only speak for myself though as you do you.

I love that women are still trying to prove themselves every night. If they can wrap up Holm, Carano, and Cyborg it becomes the 2nd most interesting division imo. Especially with most of the other champs either hurt or completely dominating. WW would be #1.
