It's fine and dandy for the Anti Aging Clinics to cater to the middle aged man, but if you're an active "Proffesional Athlete" in one of these clinics, then we got problems!!

I should have stated, this, I'm not trying to muddle the subject or change it. just pointing out this is an outside factor to consider when something like this comes out.
and I totally agree, it's one thing if your a middle aged man or do in fact have low T levels, it's another when your an athlete in a combat sport where the purpose is to do damage to another human being.

most heavyweights do SOMETHING
whether it's TRT or straight up HGH
The sport of MMA truely lives in the 135->155 weight divisions

not talking about how many do something, just pointing out how Mir and Big Foot were quick to criticize Reem (when he was Uberreem) and lo and behold here's Mir and we just saw what happened to Big Foot Silva

Exactly, if you compete in a sport in which a way of winning the competition is to knock your opponent unconscious, possibly causing brain damage, perhaps you shouldn't be allowed to use synthetic testosterone...

I am a pretty athletic guy, but I am old.
If I could just get an exemption allowing me to wear brass knuckles, I'm pretty sure I could crack the top ten in the lightweight division.

If Dana and the UFC wanted to not allow TRT use with fighters that fight for them they could just do it. The commission has nothing to do with making them accept TRT use. I for one am sick of all the crap and think they should just make it illegal. If your not good enough with out than retire. Just like drug testing and all the fighter knowing how to beat the system. Start doing hair samples and random testing year round for every fighter under contract and they would stop it also. Makes me wonder if they really are against it or just against it when fighters get caught ?

You are right! All they care is making money, and for one of these fighters not to F-UP the PPVs by being caught.

I don't think its as easy as you put it. Promoting companies need third party testing from commissions so they stay out of it. If the UFC starts banning stuff that some could call medicine they open themselves up to lawsuits.

Yes it's easy! The issue is whether is good business for them to do so. Cause they could be busting people left and right if they actually did random testing, regardless whether they are fighting soon or not. And how could you get a lawsuit when it's a company policy? I'm pretty sure that it's in their company policy not to use ANY illegal substance mandated by the Federal Government.

Now if this was some "new hire" signing up sure they can say whatever they want...........but current contracted fighters could easily file suit if the UFC all of a sudden changed its policy if wha tthey banned was considered medicine.
You guys thinking its all black and white have never really worked with large business before.

Why not? It is no different than any corporation that has a NO drug policy. The UFC is a corporation just like any other just that they employ fighters.
And yes Mabrown45 I worked for a Building materials company as a plant manager that was Global for several years. It would take some work but could very easily be put in place. They just don't want to have to take responsibility.

Well in that case all it takes is to not re-sign fighters on TRT. Or cut them after a loss.
