I made note of that already. Ank didn't need to complete h8s tds and waste his ebergy like that

That’s how he normally fights though. His well roundedness is where his success usually comes from and normally blends his striking/wrestling together well. I’m sure he would’ve preferred to complete some takedowns on Alex, but when he didn’t and was forced to strike with him for 25 minutes, I doubt that’s what he wanted, but he was lucky that Alex had problems and had an off night cuz he basically got murdered in the rematch.

You say forced to strike, I saw comfortably winning through striking and managing his gas tank professionally... and thats genuinely the only time in his career that Alex showed TDD, biting on Fugazi attempts and getting slowed down and put off rhythm. And Im saying all that as an Alex fan and vocally anti Ank

He did that. He fought long, smart, disciplined, well, he had too against someone like Alex. Not sure which part of of his arsenal is strongest, but Anks might be his wrestling and his constant willingness to use it, to mix it up. When you can’t get the chance to mix things up like he clearly couldn’t, he had to rely on his striking against the most dangerous LHW ever. I’m sure he would’ve had the same mentality going into the rematch.

I noticed something was off with Pereira in the first fight. He didn’t look comfortable or confident and when it was revealed later that he had a fractured shin bone, broken hand and norovirus it made complete sense. I take nothing away from Anks performance though, he didn’t great, but Alex put that right in the rematch.

While Blaydes has definitely improved his striking, his boxings not the best. He made it competitive but if this fight was 5 years ago, Hokit wouldn’t have had any trouble beating him. That’s a testament to Blaydes improvement on the feet, but most of his tko wins were from ground and pound. Hokits wrestling cancelled each other out. The holes in Hokits striking is evident and he has his hands down a lot. His over-reliance on his chin also will cost him against a big HW with huge power, legit striking, tdd.

I thought Derrick had a small chance to catch him because of those holes in his defence, but relying on a 42 year old that blows a gasket out of his fat asss after two minutes of the fight these days, is one of the stupidest mistakes I’ve ever made in my life. I still never picked Lewis to beat him on games. But I don’t think I’m wrong in these potential matchups for Hokit with Pavlovich, Volkov, Alex, maybe Acosta, certainly Aspinall and Gane. We shall see but we’re betting when one of these fights gets made sport.

Lol. My family biz did actually have the electronic security contract for that haven of Pedoism. Gotta wonder what the alarms were for. I spoke to one of the engineers. He told me he farted on the throne and then the queen walked in. She just nodded approval with hands behind her back and shuffled out again.
