While Blaydes has definitely improved his striking, his boxings not the best. He made it competitive but if this fight was 5 years ago, Hokit wouldn’t have had any trouble beating him. That’s a testament to Blaydes improvement on the feet, but most of his tko wins were from ground and pound. Hokits wrestling cancelled each other out. The holes in Hokits striking is evident and he has his hands down a lot. His over-reliance on his chin also will cost him against a big HW with huge power, legit striking, tdd.

I thought Derrick had a small chance to catch him because of those holes in his defence, but relying on a 42 year old that blows a gasket out of his fat asss after two minutes of the fight these days, is one of the stupidest mistakes I’ve ever made in my life. I still never picked Lewis to beat him on games. But I don’t think I’m wrong in these potential matchups for Hokit with Pavlovich, Volkov, Alex, maybe Acosta, certainly Aspinall and Gane. We shall see but we’re betting when one of these fights gets made sport.

I noticed something was off with Pereira in the first fight. He didn’t look comfortable or confident and when it was revealed later that he had a fractured shin bone, broken hand and norovirus it made complete sense. I take nothing away from Anks performance though, he didn’t great, but Alex put that right in the rematch.

Alex looked like he was in survival mode from the opening bell of that first fight.

Ok, but this wasn't about who was the better fighter, it's you holding Alex's TDD on a pedestal because you have once again gone all in emotionally over Hokit and like your claims about Lewis, I don't think they hold up. Anks TD success rate before the Alex fight was 31%, that's the stat of someone who uses an attempt for disruption more than conviction to finish it, just like I said. We all know you want to see Hokit lose, but that doesn't mean made up claims can't be checked easily. It's 2026, it takes seconds to scrape the internet for data points.

How would Anks TD accuracy go up after going 0/10. His current number is 24%. Fuck you on about playing Euclid to hide your nonsense?
