Jardine did that to Forrest as well.
Forrest isn't known for his amazing boxing. I know Anderson has boxing skills, but in pure boxing I dont think he stacks up skill wise to the guys I listed.

Jardine caught Forrest in that fight; Anderson completely out-classed Forrest, showed his stand up absolutely no respect, and barely broke a sweat in the process of beating one of the toughest LHW's in the UFC.

Forrest may be the one of the "toughest" in the division, but that doesn't mean his boxing is up to par with his heart and cardio. Just watch BJ Penn with Sherk or Sanchez and then watch any Anderson fight. There is a clear as day differance in boxing ability.

Okay, but with your logic you are implying that Sherk and Sanchez have good boxing...which they do not. Sherk has little t-rex arms that allowed BJ to have his way because of the reach advantage and Diego is extremely wild with his strikes and leaves himself open a lot. And I am not saying Anderson has better boxing than BJ, but you can't discount Silva's boxing ability because it is not the only thing he uses in his stand up. What makes Anderson such an amazing striker is the way he combines the dynamic kicks and knees of Muay Thai with the precision and speed of boxing. Anderson uses more than just his boxing in his fights, but that doesn't mean he doesn't possess great boxing.

Sherk has some decent boxing, expecially for a guy his size. He actually hung in there well with BJ for a little bit. He did a lot better than I would expect in the boxing with BJ. He's got some decent defense as well. I think his boxing has come a really long way.

I can't disagree with you there. Also, i think Sherk has very underrated boxing. He's a great boxer considering his footwork, balance, and overall technique. He may not have long spider arms like Anderson, but I think he does just fine with what he's got.

Lil Nog is by far the best boxer in MMA. I'll start out with that.
Then it goes:
BJ Penn
ASilva
Nate Diaz
AA (while he does have pretty great physical characteristics his chin is terrible, and that is a pretty large part of boxing)

Seems everyone has forgotten how crisp soon-to-be LW champion Frankie Edgar's combos are, and how beautiful his footwork is.

I wouldn't put Belfort in there. Maybe he could change spots with AA, but I don't think he's any higher than that. He is great offensively, but the other guys have figured out their defense, which is why I put them in there.
There is no doubting his handspeed, but he struggles when someone stands up to him and fires back, IMHO.

I know Lil nog is a great boxer but your statement is pretty arguable. He's up there, but there are a few you could say are better.

Frankie Edgar has very nice crisp combo's and really good footwork. He uses his wrestling with his boxing really well.
Also, I know he is more known for his Muay Thai striking, but Florian looked pretty good with his boxing skills against Guida. Landed alot of shots.

Here's how I got it:
1. AA- I think the all around combo of footwork,
headmovement
, power and speed makes him #1. Too bad he dosn't have a BJ or Diaz Chin.
2. BJ Penn- Possibily best Jab in mma, really fast hands.
3. Vitor- Ruthless power, fast hands, decent footwork.
4. Anderson- Amazing speed and Ko Power, Very illusive.
5. Diaz- Great reach, High output puncher.
6. Lil Nog- Solid all around, KO Power.
7. Rampage- Good defense, solid technique, Ko Power

:? :?: Fail on the headmovement.
