I get one for each new thing that has happened in a thread

That happens occasionally when two people post simultaneously, or when taking an action at the exact moment people are posting. That has happened to me occasionally both here and at Junkie 1.0

I think that's just a passing bug. I've never seen that many notifications for a single thread like that

I was trying something with the Persistent Alerts since Saturday. Looks like it sends way too many alerts. I reversed the changes so it should be good now.

You can disable all that in your account/profile settings. I only get notifications if someone directly quotes or replies to my own post, not for every single post in a thread I'm in.

I was uploading 3 new addons, maybe it was what caused the problem. I'm done now. Everything should be working fine.

It's still weird. The format has shifted, and the notification bubbles are gone. It's not a huge deal. It's just rather noticable.

I didn't touch those.

I disabled the only addon that could create a problem. Just tell me if the problem is still there. Don't forget to reload the site.
