Yea, it made more sense when players weren't making tens of millions of dollars. World Cup payout meant a lot more to players back in the 30s/40s/ect

Now it's basically just a chance for Mbappe to make a play at the golden boot or whatever they call the person who scores the most goals in the comp.

Think Spain keeps the aggression for another 15 minutes and gets counter attacked, with Argentina pocketing the first goal of the game.
 
The most unworthy finalists in a World Cup I think I’ve ever seen. In 120 minutes Argentina didn’t have a single shot on goal, riddled with controversy all the way through. They got away with a lot, fouls, yellow cards, easiest path ever, penalties that should’ve been, fouls that should’ve been. Games that they were fortunate. Pure domination by Spain. It wasn’t even competitive and this was before the sending off.

They will be lost in the next WC without Messi.
 
That was unbelievably stupid. How does that Argentine player manage to get himself kicked out for 1) being a whiny bitch and then 2) committing a ridiculous second foul. He leaves his team almost helpless for a tremendous amount of time. I think we need to look into betting patterns of his friends and family.

The first yellow was a bit harsh cuz loads of players complain like that and don’t receive a yellow, but it is in the rule book for dissent to the referee. Second yellow could’ve almost been a straight red it was that bad.

I doubt there’s any betting patterns, the man’s on 200 grand a week and the WC is the ultimate in a players career. No amount of money in the world would’ve tempted any footballer at the very top to do that in the most important game of his career. It was just two dumb moves in the moment.
