I can agree with this. I'd rather see Overreem, Junior, Stipe, Rothwell, Mir, & Arlovski fight Werdum instead of Cain. I just thought about the possibility of Werdum/Mir. I want that now.

After Mirs last 2 fights it is fairly intriguing. Just please go to the ground if it does happen

Mir & Werdum on the mat would be something especially if one happened to fall into the others guard.

Junior obviously. But let him knock off Overeem first then give the man his rematch with Werdum. I don't think Cain beats him Werdum even at normal altitude.

i dont think people realise what high altitude does to you. i tried to play football at high altitude when i was really fit and i gassed in 2-3 minutes..even at the start i felt like i was weighed down and i was usuing someone elses body,i cant imagine what thats like carrying 0-70 lbs more against a guy who is there for months..ive no idea who wins in the rematch..probably werdum but i give cain benefit of the doubt too

I would give Cain the benefit of a doubt but it's a fact that he was complacent in his preparation. Also stylistically, it seems to be a bad match up for Cain. Werdum can hold his own on the feet and has the clinch game to counter Cain in that area. Also Werdum's jiu-jitsu is enough of a threat to nullify Cain's takedowns.

yep he was plain stupid in preparation..i think it will all be on the feet and and i think cain can make it close at 100% but i favour werdum of course

This fight would headline this card anywhere outside of Ireland.

People saying that Stipe is not deserving of a title shot seem to forget how tough a fight he gave JDS.

Well he doesn't deserve a title shot. Coming off of a loss means you don't deserve a title shot. It doesn't matter what kind of fight you gave your opponent, if you got the loss then you haven't earned it. The people saying that he doesn't deserve a title shot are correct.

Why are you using logic?
Who is Wedum fighting next?

So we should all throw logic out the window because the UFC is infamous for giving out title shots where they don't belong? Shame on you...

Miocic is more technical no doubt, but I'd favor Rothwell, he has substantial durability and power.
