I agree, I started all of my girls on .22LR around 6 years old with both pistol and rifle. H&K 416 is a damn good .22LR in an AR Platform as well. I picked a couple of them up on Gun Broker for cheap. They cycle great. Start them with something that won't scare them or make them flinch when they pull the trigger. After a few years you can move them up. I like the 7mm-08 for a good first hunting rifle as it has no kick and is flat shooting

On the left side of the page are the filters. You can filter by free shipping which I suggest. You can also filter how many rounds you are looking to buy. I usually go 1000 rounds at a time but I click on the 500-1000 filter because I have found sometimes its cheaper to buy (2) 500 round than it is to get (1) 1000. Not always but I do see it so I always just click on that filter. You can also filter the grains so if youre planning to shoot your .308 out to 1000 yards you may want to look for 175 grain.

I got a Ruger SP101 in .357 with a 2.25 inch barrel.

It's my carjack insurance. If I'm in my car and someone comes to the window and tries to jack me, I just put it to the door and blow the whole door panel into em (while blowing out my ear drums). Don't even really need to aim it, just point and click.

I love the SP101 with the three inch barrel. Such a beautiful and perfectly balanced revolver. I had the 2.25 inch one and sold it years ago. I've got my eye on either the Kimber K6S or a Colt Cobra for a carryable .357

Oh, man. The ridiculous and crazy things I used to do with volatile and flammable liquids.....I know exactly what to NOT let my kids have access to now.

I wish I had gotten the three inch barrel. Love what I have, but I feel it's accuracy gets real unreliable past 15 yards or so.

Hence why it's my door popper. No aiming needed, just a big 'fuck you' to your lower extremities and testicles.
