honestly though i thought Jones should have won that fight. Hamill did some devastating damage to his elbows and fists but it was all done with illegal headbuts. Jones should have gotten the DQ win

Wait, what? Speed is the
only
difference? Rashad is 10x a better fighter than Matt Hamill. Outside of physical attributes alone (speed, explosiveness, strength, quickness, agility), he has better boxing, footwork, stamina, strategy...and so on and so on. I'm still not sure Hamill has even learned to keep his hands up in all the years he has got into the octagon. Rashad has fought far better guys in his career as well and still has an amazing record...that is a silly comparison.

I was talking a more simplified comparison of their styles, not that hard to grasp. Which they are still wrestlers with power in their hands, with Rashad having the athletic advantages of a black man

This is a pretty big fight for both these guys. Thiago needs the win to bump him up to official contender and an upset by Hamill would be huge as far as making a statement that he's back and should be taken seriously. Feijao was favored to beat Thiago and it wasnt even close. I think the KILLA is back and should continue his winning ways but Hamill is pretty scrappy so maybe he's got something for Silva, if he can weather the brutal onslaught coming his way. If Matt decided to fight smart and actually use his wrestling for a change then maybe he can get decision, but I just can't see him using it, his changing of the levels is non existent, his speed too and his striking is amateurish.
I admire Matt for what he's accomplished in life, but Silva has got this easily. Hamill is going to retire permanently after this fight, mark my words.
