Man, this is very troubling. It's been a Looong time, and from what I recall the original injury wasnt from a hardcore shot to the grill but more of an inadvertent blow. Head injury that won't heal in the fight game could be disastrous. I wonder if he's considering hanging em up? Damn shame really. I thought he had a good shot at being the champ one day. Not sure if its with the gamble at this point. I guess ya just gotta go by what the Professional Brain boys tell ya and have faith they know what they're talking about

my gpa had 1 leg cut off
thenn they said he needs to cut off the other
he was unwilling to do so and got another opinion and all it took was a vien transplant taken from his other leg and boom saved his leg and possibly some sanity

Yeah. I'm curious to how he got the concussion cause normally I hear of concussions taking somewhere between 30-90 days depending on the case.

If Melendez doesn't want the fight with Nurmagomedov, or can't fight for some reason, just put Nurmagomedov up against RDA or Nate Diaz on the 170 card he was supposed to fight Melendez at.... Winner of him and RDA would have to be really close to a title shot and beating Nate Diaz would have to put Nurmagomedov a fight away most likely, Nurmagomedov's camp has said they are ready to fight anyone as soon as possible, so hopefully he can stay on the 170 card.

I think Melendez/Nurmagomedov didnt happen due to visa issues. It was undisclosed, but i think that's what happened. dos Anjos is fighting Khabilov so i think Diaz/Nurmagomedov makes the most sense. If Bendo beats Thomson, i would have him rematch Melendez for the next title shot.
