Oh man.... totally missed the round 1 scoring until right now! Why doesn't this thread send me updates?!? I have it marked as watched. This site is flawed! Someone should start a new site!!

what happens to me sometimes:
I read a thread and don't see, there is a next page.
If i leave the thread without opening the newest page, the site stops notifying me until i go on the last side of the thread at some point.
Was the same on the old one.

It's okay though, I've got a plan.

That happens to me only if I check the thread, fail to see that there was another page past what I checked, and then keep going as normal. Because I didn't check the next page with new posts, the system doesn't update me with notifications. That is the only scenario I have ever had notifications seem to not work at either site.

If i leave the thread without opening the newest page, the site stops notifying me until i go on the last side of the thread at some point.

We had the same problem at the other site. Weird that it isn't fixed after so many years. Best bet is to use the lightning bolt for New Posts.
