Round 7 (Semi-final pt. 1)
This is the first of two rounds of the semi-final. We will be using motives' and Eranys' categories this round.

1. Eranys- Best War Movie Ever Made.
Submit a clip that illustrates why your choice is the best war movie ever made. You must also include a write up explaining your clip selection and articulating why the film as a whole stands as the greatest war movie in cinema history. Entries will be judged on the strength of the chosen clip, the quality of the write up, and the persuasiveness of the argument.

2. motives- Best motivational speech in a movie.
Pick a movie scene with the best motivational speech. No write-ups necessary.

I like it! Although @Eranys already having his choice is pretty unfair as there is one modern movie that will resonate with everyone for obvious reasons. I am pretty sure he already picked that and will have a definitive advantage because of it as motivational speeches can be very opinion based.

Like I would give the nerdovational speech by Anthony Edwards in Revenge of the Nerds a 10/10, pretty sure @Brick would give me a 2 just for nostalgia.

I think most know the scene/movie you are r implying. The good thing is that great war movies have been doin their thang for a LONG time in Hollywood (and elsewhere) and have been shown from a variety of perspectives.

Good luck. Someone has a clear advantage. Luckily the rest of you have @Brick judging and he rarely gives good scores to obvious front runners because he is a curmudgeon that beats this own bollocks drum.
