Kinda surprised no one took the war scene in the fantasy direction. I would have been interested in seeing LOTR Return Of The King, or The Battle Of The Bastards from GOT or something like that.

Those would have been poor choices as they aren't war movies. Individual battles, no matter how good, don't a war movie make.

I wouldn't pick something based in fantasy/medieval lore to portray war. Modern Warfare is the correct direction for this category. That said the battles in Return of the King were very much part of a war. The War of the Ring I think it was.
And the battles in game of thrones like the battle of the bastards were part of the War of the Five Kings

I really enjoy judging idol, I have learnt quite a bit from it and ended up watching films I otherwise wouldn't. Remind me is there a prize at the end for the contestants or is it a moral victory?
