does the seasoning in the pan affect the flavor of bread? like are there hints of the garlic steak in the bread? and does baking bread in it affect future seasoning of the pan?

Flavor SHOULDN'T transfer.
Although, if you have a dedicated fish fryer that you use 3 times a month, and then cook a pie in it, you may catch a hint.
Baking bread WILL suck up seasoning.
Which is why must folks line with parchment paper for baking bread.

You should be reconditioning/maintaining your CI after every use.

I'll send you a tin of my compound in the next few.

Use about a quarter teaspoon after each cook.

You'll be good.
