I guess IMO there isnt really an undisputed champion as 3 people have somewhat of a case for it, but Dana said the winner tonight would be champion of the division ... So Khabib.
Thinking we wont really know until September or after when Conor and Khabib fight... or we may never know ..but the official CHamp is Khabib

I say the undefeated man who has the belt... Aka the only man who has fought in an actual title fight this year.
How is Khabib beating Iaquinta any less worthy of being a title fight that Ferguson vs Kevin Lee was?
And as for Conor, dude hasn't fought for over a year. How long does he have to be out of the game before people stop calling him champ? Cos by that logic then GSP is still WW and MW champion

I don't understand how Tony got stripped of the belt the UFC gave him for missing one fight. Conor didn't defend his belt for a year and half before the UFC decided to take his belt.

Khabib is the champion.
But with all due respect, we wont know who the best lightweight in the world is, until Conor, Tony, Khabib fight each other. Thats just it.
Khabib is champ, but we DO NOT, know who the best in the world is. They need to fight each other. In some combination
Plus, Conor and Tony are
both
champions who never lost their belts. Again, I'm sorry. But this championship is absolutely 100% in dispute. Khabib is champ, but damn. What a situation

So the champ is a guy who fought one LW fight in 5 years....and Tony's who will be out for a year are on the same level as Khabib.
Khabib is arguably the p4p best fighter in the world 25-0 he has officially won 51 straight rounds. Khabib might defend his title and then move to WW before Tony gets back.

there is technically no wrong answer.
I
just need to see them fight each other. They have to. The MMA world needs closure. There will always be questions. These are the 3 best & they have never fought eachother. We need to see who's the best through competition.
And I literally started my post by saying Khabib is
the
champion. Khabib might be 26-0 (which is an unreal accomplishment), but he is in the exact same boat as Ferguson was a few months ago. Only difference is that his belt isnt an interim. Say what you will about Tony & Conor, but these are facts: They are both champs who never lost their belts due to competition. Its a weird situation, that well never see again imo
