Before his last fight, he has thoroughly destroyed every person that has come his way. He destroyed Faber who dominated that division for years. The top guys looked like ametuers against him. Even his fight with Hominick wasnt even close. Aldo was visablely tired against him and was still able to avoid most of his punches and beat him the hell up.
Cruz on ther other hand has had some extremely close fights. The way he wins his fight is not nearly as dominate as Aldo and I would say he has had 1 or 2 dominating wins since he began in the WEC

LITESOUT: Good points. He dominated kod all the way to the belt. But, they were cans. Can you name a single one off hand other than Cub? I can't. Cruz had close fights, its the calibre of ops he fought. Everyone but one he fought n the wec r so good they were brought 2 ufc. 1 of ja's were brought.

Youre not denying Cruz has beaten higher calibre oponnents than Aldo, r u? cmon. His win over faber at bw was more impressive than aldos because UF's natural weight is BW. Look at it this way, is there a SINGLE contender/opponent aldo beat that cruz couldnt? No.

btw Aldo is above him because hes a better fighter at 50-75% he tooled hom and florian is a much tougher fight then anyone cruz has fought

Most people probably look at Aldo's highlight reel when p4p is mentioned. Jose has looked very vulnerable in his last two fights though, and I wouldn't rank him above Cruz.

the fact that Cruz was getting worked by a flyweight is why i have him below aldo and Frankie cruz is only good in his devision because he holds a massive size advantage in his fights

lol this is great you clearly didnt watch the fight all cruz has is is style and wrestling and his style wears him out by the 3rd round and he resorts to laying on guys and btw 3 of his last 6 fights were against guys much smaller then him in Benavidez and Jhonson and many peiople think he should have lost the title to Benavidez
