Flew to Phoenix today (visiting family in the Mesa area) and a 92 year old guy died on our plane.

Weirdest thing, seemed to go peacefully.. his wife was trying to talk to him and he didn't say anything, assumed he was sleeping... nope, ded.

FD boarded the plane immediately after he leaned, threw him on a stretcher and threw a blanket over him... that was that.

At 92, I'm sure it's exactly what he was waiting for.
 
So the wife and I got jobs very close to one another. We have 2 neighborhoods locked up. One is right across the street (essentially) from where I will work. I'm thinking of getting an Ebike to get there.
Not a gan of the HOAs though, they don't include internet and are a little high.

I mean it must happen (more than you expect) but wow
that's the way to go though, just go to sleep and not wake up
 
Listened to the first hour of Eric Weinstien on Rogan. Man, this dude is just as batshit crazy as his brother. Not sure if there was an excessive amount of lead paint in that household growing up or whatever, but damn.

I heard the whole thing. he dips into some time theories in the second half that are interesting. his whys on Epstein are interesting in that he doesn't touch what he was doing but he does touch why him, and why those of that status migrated or were migrated in his direction. but he does put guardrails around some areas and says I can't say what I know or I disappear kind of stuff which makes me go why even bring this subject up then...

He believes in that "disappearing scientist" myth and thinks someone will come for him or something, lol.

he does, but a minimalist version of it. he thinks there's only 4 or 5 and not 15+
 
I've been down in Arizona (Phoenix/Mesa area) for the last week or so. It's been really nice.

My wife doesn't really want to do anything but eat and visit family (and sit around and eat), but my daughter has wanted to get out and explore.

Her and I have been hitting up a bunch of trails. Did the "Wind Cave" today, and a couple days ago we went to Sedona and did some hikes around there before checking out Montezumas Well.

If anyone is looking for interesting places to visit, Sedona is really nice. Bout 2-2.5 hours from Phoenix. Lots of neat little shops and restaurants, plenty of hiking trails and the red rocks are beautiful


I head back tomorrow, but it's been nice to get out and move around.

Sedona is gorgeous, but an absolute tourist trap. When I lived in phx for a bit I went to sedona and absolutely lost it in a store. Like 100 ppl in a tiny ass store and nobody would move.

I could see it getting crazy busy on weekends or holidays.

We went on a Wednesday, it was active but not insufferable level crowded.

Did you check out old town scottsdale? Google it. Pretty fun and chill area and is kid friendly during the day. Dont take ylue kiddo at night tho... it becomes more of nightclub/bar kind of area.

This is peak time for sedona right now..well almost over now. And then starts back up in fall. I went on sun thru Tuesday i think. Every day was insanely busy. I wanted to climb the highest red rock and jump off of it.

I guess nobody can afford gas anymore lol.
