That no one from the DNC even prepped him is hilarious.

The DNC might seriously be going bankrupt cause of the Kamala Harris failed election bid.

All those donor money political parties ask for is not just for TV ads and catering. They fund consultants and on site staff that are supposed to monitor the candidates 24/7 and nip issues in the bud. They constantly prep them for interviews and keep them abreast of hot topics, geopolitical or domestic implications (depending on what they are running for office), even memes.

This seat isn't some backwater mayor post. It's the county that covers Minneapolis, responsible for more than a million people. That they couldn't even afford/bother to send a single consultant to shadow him is fucking hilarious.

They don't need to waste money there. He will get elected based on his name not his political opinions and they know it.
