Weird one, I never had Rakic down as a big LHW, not like the others that have moved up and filled out just right cuz they were big LHWs. Idk, he’s talented enough, tall enough. We shall see.

I always thought he was 6”3, seems like Wiki has him 6”5 and Tapology has him 6”4. Regardless, he’s a brown belt and well rounded enough to beat Tybura. Tyburas striking looked improved in his last outing but he’s chinny, Rakic punches and kicks hard. I always say any LHW that’s big for the division, that is 6”4 plus will naturally be walking around at 225-235 so it wouldn’t take them long to increase their size even more and do well at HW. Rakic might be that guy. I think Walker might too. Kennedy, Petrino, Spann have comfortably moved up and done ok so it’s not out of the realms of possibility that Rakic could do the same but I’m still surprised he’s moving up. I thought Reyes would’ve been before him to make the move.

You could be right but any man that is huge for a weight class, that has a really hard weight cut could naturally have a weaker chin than the usual people. I doubt it’s going to be as bad with another 20 pounds in weight added. No doubt he’ll still get slept some but HW is HW. Look at Poirer, gets slept twice at FW. Moves up to LW cuz the cuts was getting harder on his body, only ever ko loss at LW was a head kick from hell from Justin. All the rest of his LW fights his chin held up better.
I think Overeem is more the example to look at TBH.
