And yes the plan was probably Khamzat vs Costa with their bad blood and such but with Khamzat losing that might knock Costa out of it as well

So what did we settle on? No one thinks Khamzat goes up to LHW?
His immediate reaction was that considering how hard it must have been for him to "make weight"

And then he's changed his mind and fixated on rematching and beating Sean and he probably thinks he doesn't get an immediate title shot at 205 otherwise

So it depends what the UFC wants for Sean next I'd say

That fight at LHW makes sense from a business perspective and I think Costa would give him problems with his anti-grappling skills, very hard to take down and submit(just like Sean), but has the kicks and hands to make it competitive.

That's probably the fight to make and the winner can fight for the title

Oh, I see. He flukes a win over a compromised Jamahal and you jump trains.
Lamentable.

It’s UFC. ‘Hmmm, we have several viable options, new fresh contender, prime fighter on a run, newb from another org………..orrrrrrrr, a rematch’.
‘Yep. I think that’s unanimous then.’

For sure. Offensively he’s an animal, huge power in every shot, underrated ground game, good kicks, unorthodox style, good conditioning, a samurai will to win, I don’t even think he’s got a bad chin cuz he has came back from the brink of defeat, but would it hurt him to be a bit more defensive? Why can’t he learn to fight with his hands up and chin down instead of up? Especially if you’ve been ktfo several times. If he’s willing to put the work in like he clearly does then he could easily spend that time fighting smart. it’s just dumb low fight IQ. He needs to find striking coaches that can drill this into his head/style, but he probably won’t do it cuz he’ll never accept what he’s doing is wrong. Nevermind not kicking the legs of someone for the title that’s got a bum knee.
All wrong. Didn't you listen to the interview? It was MERCY! Mercy I tell ya.
