Nominate your best fight between the two least recognizable fighters. No amateurs must be professional fighters. Use the write up to explain your choice, for ex. why does this fight stand out and etc. Due next Thurs 7/30. Remember guys, this is the last and deciding round of the quarterfinal, only 4 people are advancing to the semi. Good luck

For clarification, they only need to be little known at the time of the fight, right? If they later became famous, that doesn't matter, because they were relatively unknown when the fight occurred?

The judges are going to take a long time with this one. They will be needing to watch a lot of fights. Could potentially be eight 5 round fights to watch.

that's what up to the players and judge to decide. i'd assume more recognizable than other organizations

Are there any guidelines for judging, such as how much they weigh different factors? Are they putting equal weight to how unknown the fighters are vs how exciting the fight was?

yeah equal weight. the more you can fulfill both criteria the better your score

will the standard 2 weeks to do the judging need to be extended?

highlights should be alright, use what's ever available.

I know the fight I have in mind but to a non casual like most of the judges probably are they might know the fighters. If they do does that mean they will penalise us for it? It’s a toughie!
